Fox Kids (formerly Fox Kids: The Channel and The Children's Channel) is cable TV Channel for kids owned by Fox

The channel was first launched in 1985 by Storer Communications as The Children's Channel. In 1995 Storer sold The Children's Channel to Fox and it became Fox Kids: The Channel to avoid confusion with the Saturday morning block of the same name at the time. In 2002 when Fox renamed the Fox Kids block to Fox Box the "The Channel" part was dropped from the name and the channel became simply known as "Fox Kids".
